TMG Insurance Services, LLC, known as The Mutual Group, has appointed Coleman Johnson as its senior vice president and chief underwriting officer. Johnson joins the company with over 20 years of underwriting leadership experience, previously holding senior positions with prominent national insurance carriers.
In his new role, Johnson will oversee the strategy, governance, and performance of The Mutual Group’s underwriting operations. His expertise is expected to enhance profitability and drive growth for the company and its mutual insurance members.

Before joining The Mutual Group, Johnson was chief underwriting officer for US and Bermuda at Canopius, according to a news release. His career also includes significant roles at Liberty Mutual, The Hanover Insurance Group, and The Hartford.
