Starkweather & Shepley Insurance Brokerage (S&S) has unveiled its new office in Palm Beach Gardens.
Located within the Golden Bear Plaza at 11760 U.S. Highway One West Tower, Suite 501, the latest addition to S&S’s premises is the company’s second in Florida. Its grand opening saw the gathering of clients, business partners, and members of the local community.
The new location, which complements the existing one in Naples, will offer the broker’s comprehensive suite of risk management products, including private client personal insurance, commercial insurance, life/asset protection, and loss control.
Additionally, the Palm Beach Gardens office also enjoys the company’s affiliation with Assurex Global.
Reflecting on the firm’s strategic growth and the significance of the new site, Andrew Fotopulos, executive vice president for Florida, commented: “We are excited to celebrate the expansion of our Palm Beach Gardens location and proud of what our team has been able to accomplish in Florida.
“As we celebrate 145 years of business this year, our growth is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team.”
In February, S&S announced that chair and chief executive Larry Keefe will be succeeded by Fotopulos and Peter Plumb as chair and CEO, respectively, from June 15.
Described as the biggest independent agency in Rhode Island, S&S came to life in 1879. It provides commercial and personal insurance, health and employee benefits, surety bonding, and risk management services both nationally and internationally.
